BEHIND THE WHEEL

Riddick Driving School provides Behind the Wheel instruction for teens and adults that are trying to meet the DMV requirement for obtaining a Virginia Driver's License.

We pick up and drop off students at no additional charge.

In order to take behind the wheel, if you are under the age of 18, you must complete a 36 hour state-approved driver education program and possess your Virginia learner's permit.  In addition, students must have 45 hours of supervised driving with a parent/guardian, of which 15 hours must be after sunset.  Upon registering for behind the wheel, students will need to provide the following:

*a valid Virginia learner's permit
*a certificate of driver education course completion (Green Card)
*Payment, in the form of cash or check, is expected on the first day of behind the wheel.

If you are 18 years of age or older, behind the wheel is not required.  However, we do provide instruction for those wishing to complete the behind the wheel training for peace of mind.
Rate:  $235.00 for course

We service the Smithfield and Windsor areas.

PRIVATE DRIVING LESSONS

We are now offering private driving lessons for individuals that need to fine tune their driving skills.  Are you a parent that is too nervous to ride in the car with your teen as they are learning their skills?  Hour long driving sessions may help.  We provide a certified instructor to aid in learning the basics of operating a car safely on the road and working to overcome fears associated with driving.  Give us a call if you are interested in learning more about scheduling private driving lessons.  Rate:  $45.00 per hour

Instruction includes 7 sessions of supervised behind the wheel driving and 7 sessions of observation while another student drives.   Each session is 50 minutes.
